Do you beat your wife ?

I have to admite this is a dumb arse thread , who in the right mind is gonna own up to beating there wife and if there is any one that beats there wife they should be locked up and the key droped down a drain.

Maybe there should be a poll stupidest thread of the year this should win hands down.

I think why people are calling it a dumbass thread is because it is such a vile crime there is absolutely no debate.

A poll seeks information. Anyone voting yes isn't worth anything other than a dark room in a cell underground, at best (and as long as the cops get to them before someone who doesn't believe in a judiciary response to such a thing, like me). In other words, "what's the question?" Did you truly expect to assess society by asking if anyone thinks it's OK, so long as you're drunk?

Sorry, but I think you earned the award on this one. Your heart may be in the right place, and I think it is, but framing it this way just didn't fly with many here.

 

It's really bad but I still think he has a long way to go to beat ezguy who not only appears to be a fool but also appears to have a strange fetish about Muslims.

 

northpointaiki, I believe that mention stuff sometimes sparks attention to problems.
For example I have a web site where I pretend to sell real kids, (it was even closed by FBI at one point) The site look real and a lot of people got shocked by it. So shocked that they donate money to save the children because of it. And some of the visitors got the spark to fight kid trafficing. Thats what giving attention to stuff some times can lead to.

For the record, no, I wouldn't beat my wife. Nor would I murder my neighbor, or hunt his kids, or any other obvious wrong.

 

The reason why this thread is so stupid is because of the way its set up. The poll is freakin dumb! I know its a serious issue. But you could have done better. Why not just ask people what they think of this matter?

Its like discussing terrorism in the thread with the poll that says: "Are you planning to blow some country up?"

True, its always hard for AGS to answer questions from people that are not either with him or against him. I tried some times in past threads, but he fails to answer. Thats sad because I often have sympathy with him in discussions and I am actually interested in some of his views some times, but to really go in depth its hard for him.

 

I guess it depends, beating for the sake of beating then no. Beating her because she comes at me with a knife absolutely, killing my neighbor no. Killing him for a valid reason absolutely

Personally I would never ever beat my wife! What are we, uncivilized and immoral!? I honsetly think I would rather kill myself then do it! Who ever I choose to marry I will basically revere her as a goddess as she will be a mother someday. I can't even imagine what reasoning a person has to beat their wife! Shame on them!
