Do you always use categories in your wp blog?

I noticed that some blogs dont use categories, they have archives and search still but have chosen not to have a categories link on their blog at all.

Have you done this on any of your own blogs?

I believe most people use categories, unless you we are referring to adult sites, they just don't mind.

Are you pointing towards the fact that some blogs don't show or don't use? There is a difference between the two. I have seen many personal blogs which don't show any categories on homepage but do use them. BTW its impossible to write a post without a category in Wordpress...it will take it as Uncategorised if you don't specify any category.

yes whenyou start your blog you se tthe categories first, then your post go in each category , your pages are like a nav bar and have major items of importance to the blog. so when you set up a post , itgoes to a category.
