Hello friends, Are you using shortened links? Do you agree that short URLs tend to dilute the value of links? How admirable are these links from the SEO point of view? Is this advisable or should I evade making short links whenever possible? Please let me hear your response.
Shortened URLs are your best bet if you have character limitations or if you don't want the URL to be picked up by search engines. If you want the SEO benefit then don't use the short URLs. Regards
When you find that you have character specific URL's which are too large then its better to write the URL's in the short form, as when you go from an seo point of view it may not help you much....
The more focused the URL is towards your keywords the better. If the URL is too long then it can be seen as spam
Hi there, Short URL would be convenient for you to manage your site because if the homepage URL is long, the inner page URLs will also be very long, hence it could take long time to redirect to that particular page. Generally search engines do not discriminate between long and short URLs and thus promotion of your website will remain unaffected by it.
Short URL is user-friendly but its always good to have unique URL with the desired keyword.. Long URL with keyword in it - will be the good one in SEO point of view..
short URLs can be rememebered easier. So it is more user friendly. If you can get one domain name short and with key words. Then congratulations.
