I would say, it's not worth taking the risk since serp position is more important than the income coming from link sales.
Can't argue with ^ If you're going to sell links, don't advertise the sites which are selling them and there's nothing to worry about. Some sites even throw links in their privacy policies... saw one on a PR8 site earlier with "we will not give your (credit card numbers)". The site had nothing to do with those
yes am afraid. I posted a post with affiliate. I think thats y i got sandboxed now. I have removed that post. So am afraid.
Sometimes when you play with fire you get burned. If G penalizes your site for selling links, make sure it's "worth" the risk.
No. 1) Google cannot detect paid links unless you're an idiot 2) I don't sell links and I never will sell links
I do not sell links but would like provide some for My clients to find other ideas, to help them, not make money. But isn't adsense the same thing.
Here's the BIG QUESTION: how would Google know you were selling links??? Obviously, if you use a link selling network (like Text-Link-Ads.com) -- or advertise selling links on your website -- you're more likely to get caught. But if you make private deals with individual webmasters, there's no way for Google to know whether you've sold a link or if you decided to link to the website naturally. Also, don't place too many purchased links. This could also raise a "red flag"...
