    I don't "advertise"....I make fan pages with keyword phrases and then stuff them with likes (fake) so the page is at the top of the fb search when people search for what I'm selling

    The best way to use social networking sites for marketing is by keeping the profile pages fresh and informative. Social network profiles do rank on Google I suppose.

    I find it easy but not very productive - a lot of browser add-ons cut out the commercials but they still appear to you as displayed. Even if you pay for actual clicks it is not something sounding good to me. But on the other hand it is all about the advertised page contents!

    Yes, but I turn ads off if I'm not adding anything new, then back on again when I add new stuff. I usually advertise my facebook pages to get more Likes, rather than my websites directly.
