Do websites charge more for listings on higher Page Ranks?

    Hi there,

Do directories generally charge more if they are offering you a link on a page with a higher ranking? Can the charge vary depending on the PR of the page as in a PR1 will charge a certain amount and a PR4 will be more?

I don't know if this happens or not...
At the moment I am setting our site up in free directories but the next step will be to try getting our site listed on directories/ with affiliates that offer a better PR. Before I do this I am trying to get myself informed on what to expect.....

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Angela.

Thanks for that. That's what I thought all right. Does there tend to be a standard charge or does this just depend on the directory in question. I'm just trying to figure out how much is too much....
