Do webhosting matter much in SEO?

    How much important is it to shift my webhosting to my country in order to get good local search rankings?

    I just heard to have backlinks from country specific domains to get top results in SERP. Please share what you know and think.

    Place where you do web hosting Doesnt matter. You can host in India with a .com and still have possibility of obtaining good ranking.

    some time its matter & some time not...depends on nature & targeted value of website.
