Ebooks sell, yes some are crappy and some are good, but people still want them and sell them. I have sold many of my own articles and ebooks over the years, but not one was about money. I look in yahoo and msn groups for frequently asked questions, then I write a mini book about it. For example I wrote a 7 page article called "How to Restore Cabbage Patch Kids" put it on ebay and sold 17 in 2 weeks. I wait a couple of months and sell it again. I have been doing this for about 2 years now. So if you have time and look for other greta info, besides how to make money, you can make a little money with your own ebook or articles.
Ebook marketers are mainly banking on convenience and accessibility. The same information may be available online for free but a lot of it is scattered and disjointed. By combining that information and packaging it as an ebook, people are more likely to pay a premium to access it.
Yeah, so well all agreed: No Need to Pay for eBook, right? Otherwise, I am gonna start selling eBooks too. And guess what i am gonna write about? about things that people already know.
I guess if you are the kind of guy that buys an ebook with the title "How I made $1,000,000 in 24hrs without even getting up from bed. FREE." then that ebook might actually be able to tell you something you didn't knew. BTW; like the concept GeorgR has of making an ebook on how to sell ebooks. Thats the kind of recursive marketing that works.
