Do we need to place "This is ad revenue sharing forum" link

    I have a question whether we need to have "This is ad revenue sharing forum" message.I beleive it distracts the normal user from clicking on the ad..
    I am thinking what about placing it someplace.Just a suggestion

    With all the questions about the revenue sharing program, thats probably a good place for it (THats probably the first place someone coming here because of the NY Times article would look)

    Nice to hear your views.But we also need to consider one thing the CTR rate seems to be very less .So We may need to work on google ads placement so that it will be benefical for everyone..

    It doesn't matter where the placement is, the CTR will be low because a good percentage of the users are just repeat visitors.

    Do you have tracking for the forum as compared to the main site? If so, what percentage of adsense income accounts for each?

    I know this is not my website.I started this thread to discuss to improve the CTR for all .If there is a way which will improve the CTR and will not degrade the quality of the forum it always better to have.

    Except Shawn didn't start this forum to make money through AdSense. Its to support his tools (that doesn't sound right)

    Thats why it's so popular, if he changed everything to get maximum CTR (ala SEOChat), most people would leave (ala SEOChat)
