As far as things are concerned, if you are serving google ads even on your blogspot blogs, you are required to inform your visitors about the cookie insertion to be reflected in your privacy policy.

could you just have one privacy policy and link to it from all of your websites? or do you need a policy for each website?

In a blogspot, where would you put the policy?

If you are using Google Adsense to serve ads on your blog ,you must have privacy policy updated by April 9 2009,write a post on privacy policy and put a link to it in Footer of your blog.

If your blog has google ads on it, it must have a privacy policy page.

This is strange, if you run on a Blogger sub-domain then your blog is the full responsibility of Blogger and so what they provide on the homepage will count as your privacy policy. If you go on your own domain, then it is usually advisable to get a compact privacy policy drawn up.

I just wonder on a sub-domain if Blogger privacy is detected, hence not losing out on cookie tracking?!

According to the recent post of Google Adsense blog, all Adsense publishers should have or update their Private policy page.

    I added this portion though.

Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to this site's visitors based on their visit to this site and other sites on the Internet.
