Do we really need a content writer and a SEO professional to rank fast? We are running 2 websites on which we have done many efforts. Good traffic and Alexa Rank. Posts are indexing well for the keywords. We are handling every aspect of SEO and content. But my question is, what exactly a content writer and SEO professional would do for a website. We were novice some day, But has experienced many hitches and turns of the field. OR what else do we need ? Unique content, do follow back links, on - page and off-page SEO....WE DID, But, Are we lacking anything? What important things need to get fulfilled? Thanks.
Oy, this is a loaded question if ever I saw one... First off, if you know what you're doing and are willing to learn you don't need a pro. Fortunately we're in 2013. You can pretty much find anything and everything you need online if you're patient enough to search. You asked what a content writer and SEO pro would do. The content writer would, d'oh, write content. The thing is, content can be many things and written in many ways. But crap content won't get you anywhere these days. Your content needs to be helpful and it needs personality so that people enjoy reading it and share it with their friends. As for the SEO part... there's different types of SEO experts. Some will try to get you links in natural ways, some will use spam tactics, some will use blog networks. Every SEO works a bit differently. The thing is, I dunno what you did... I have no idea what you're trying to rank for. Cause the truth is there are some things you just can't rank for cause the competition is too huge. And there's not set deadline for ranking. You could be doing everything right and not rank, or you could be doing things half-way and find yourself at the top spot. The best thing I could recommend for you right now is find someone who is an SEO consultant. Show them your site, tell them what you intend to do with it, and they'll tell you if it possible or not and how to go about doing it. Have a good one!
You're telling me the similar things what I wrote into my Post. I was just asking for any other things we need to know. No doubt there are lots and lots of online places to learn from as we did it earlier! We learnt by our own source and would be happy to learn again the new things too! So, that's my question, what else could be the thing to stress upon! I thinks it's not making any fallacy! Yes, You're right for SEO Consultant option. But Atleast, We should know the terms, So that when the consultant will ask us for the relevant changes, We should better know what's going on! As what we did till now, was not the work of any SEO consultant. So it would be better to know first! Thanks.

Well, yes, you do need the help of a Content Writer and a SEO Professional to rank fast, it doesn't matter if it is you only or outsourced to someone else. Frankly, a professional will ease your efforts. Well, the experienced people will do the similar things in a much easier way. Whatever you learnt from your experiences, they too will have the knowledge of the same things and from their own experiences they know exactly what need to do to resolve the same. Exactly, you just need the same only, but an experienced SEO like me (obviously kidding) will check and guide you if you are doing it in a right way or not. Your steps might harm you, but an SEO will tell you whether you are going in right direction or not? Well, it is hard to tell anything without having the knowledge of the project on which you are working. It might be possible that those are enough for a particular thing, but might not be for other. Well I would support the same.
