Just use some other search engine like bing. Thats a good joke. I think i am the only one that agrees with this guy...
I love Google, and I hope it stays as long as possible. However, competition is nice. It gives Google another reason to get better. Bing's show up inspired a few such changes, and despite my opinion on Microsoft's evilness, I'm grateful to them for it .
Google is awesome but I mean it could happen. If you look at Yahoo, that used to be the best and got taken over by Google. If you look socially, you had MySpace taken over by Facebook and Twitter. There are always new innovations in markets and that is what makes us better as humans.
If new search engine has a faster bot (no way!!!!) THEN YES ITS GIONG TO BE NEW gOOGLE. But now Google is the fastest and best of all http://myweather.onlinewebshop.net/
Google has quite a big task - serving up clean search results to the ENTIRE WORLD! That said, they are doing pretty darn good. But yes, I think some more competition in search would only be a good thing. As a defender of our right to sell/buy/link whatever we want on our websites, I think it's a big problem that Google has decided to "own" paid links. They make almost all of their revenue from link sales, and here they are telling everyone they will be penalized if we decide to sell links and don't use their stupid nofollow mechanism. Don't get me wrong, I understand how the nofollow attribute helps them deal with link quality and generate better results, but I think someone might come along eventually and do a better job. Fact is, if you have money you can buy links just by generating PR on/offline and it's basically the same thing. The result of this, IMO, is handing the SERPs to the companies with the biggest budgets and most elite marketing departments. I do like what they are doing with page previews to some extent, an idea I've discussed with people years ago. One thing is for sure, they have their work cut out for them!
TBQH, No. I (or rather we) don't need a new Google. What we need is something new in Google. Like, a search engine that focuses more on spam and the sort. As for other search engines, well, Bing tried to be the new Google while Blekko has now got themselves involved in the Search game. It would be better to see more search engines out there rather than only Google, Bing and Blekko.
They tried, it was called Cuill. Unfortuneately, the surveyed results have nothig to do with Google. Those are because of good link builders where only Google's algorithm is responsible for returning results. Hopefully the webspam team puts those sites on its "sites to get rid of" list.
nope, google is developing and introducing many things, so we dont need new one. existing one is better.
