yes I have it.. earnings are very low because not a lot of people use it (ctr when people actually search is quite high) I leave it on my site as it's nice for users to have a searchbox, and adsense will show me what words people look for (so I can optimize my site for them)
in reports click on the channel."Top queries data" i only have it on a small site.i get queries every day,but not clicks.at most i'll get like 13 cents, but mostly it is a couple cents a click.
I think google search is very poor performance. I am using from 3 months onwards just i got 1 click = $0.13
Yes, I use it as my site's search engine. But I use Google Custom Search (http://www.google.com/coop/cse/), which you can connect to your AdSense account. That way, I can present search results with the design look & feel of my site, and also have ads show up that users can click on. Though the results don't really compare to what I make through regular AdSense ads, I've been satisfied. Remember, these ads get far fewer impressions & pageviews, so it's not realistic to expect them to perform as well as other ad formats.
Well Google Search used to bring me good money 2-3$/day but not anymore because I categorized my site to make visitors "life" easier
If you have a large website a search is a must not just for adsense but to help visitors find information on other topics. If someone likes your article they will definitely search for more related articles.
if someone search through your search box and then click on the sponered links (adwords) on google search page.......the you get paid.... So Only search is not important but the searcher must click on sponcered links as well.... Thts why it doesnt give s so much CTR...
Even though it doesn't pay it seems like something that you'd want on your site if you expected some regular visitors to make it their homepage. I know my homepae is Google. -Methane
