Yeah, Tht may not be a good example of web designing, but its an excellent example of a photo story. He just looked at the design of the site, not the meaning behind tht.
For what? It is creepy. It's a site revolved around how that man is about to DIE. Baby sites, wedding sites, engagement sites, prom sites... SURE... Death sites? Not so much. "I'm wearing the ring my mother wore when she died." How is that not creepy?
Its called wrong perception. It shows the depth of love for his mom, If one keeps some memories of his beloved ones, is that creepy?
Of course not. However, it would be creepy if I said something along the lines of: "This shirt I'm wearing...it was my Mother's. She died in it." Comparing a comment like that with holding onto memories of a lost loved one is quite different.
