I gamble a lot and I love it! I don't think I'm an addict because after I make a lot I put it in the bank, and after I lose a lot I stop until I make it back from work/ my websites

There is a huge difference between gambling by playing games of chance and gambling by trying out a new business idea. It is very typical of people who promote games of chance to try make it seem like the two things are similar, but they are not.

As elegant and fun as off and online casinos try to look, they attract crooks and con-artists like magnets. Our largest local casino is located in Richmond, B.C. and is a focal point for loan sharks, kidnappings, and murders. Hardly a week passes without another incident. The internet is no different. . . thought he crimes are subtly different and the characters involved can be much more sinister than at land based casinos in the U.S. and Canada.

I usually only gamble at reputable online sites like party poker and play poker/ sports betting with friends at their houses (not really a fan of casinos)

I don't gamble, it is a complete waste of time. The house is always rigged, and by the time someone wins the jackpot, the house has already made three times that amount. Much better to invest my money in my business.

Life itself is a gamble if you think about it. I don't mind risking things now and again, but why waste money on gambling? Better to just play poker for fun :p

Many years ago I used to bet the horses pretty frequently — the "trotters", not the thoroughbreds. It got into my blood, and I found myself going to tracks in various states to bet on harness races, and occasionally on the greyhounds.

Eventually, I gave it up and haven't placed a bet in about the last 40 years. Too risky, the odds are stacked against you, and I don't like the realization that for me to win, someone else has to lose.

That about sums up the reasons why I don't gamble. I feel that it just doesn't make sense to play a game where you are essentially designed to lose. While games like poker do involve some type of skill, most gambling games are pure chances, and the numbers always favor the house.

Not only that, I read a book one time on millionaires in which they said that most self made millionaires who are frugal do not gamble. The reason for this is because they worked hard for their money, and they won't just throw it away when the odds are against them.

In addition to this, Einstein said something like "people who are good at math don't gamble." I have to agree with the quote, because it is true. When you have an understanding of probability, you know that trying to gamble for a jackpot is a waste of time. You're much better off saving your money and starting your own business.

And as for the so called "high rollers" who spend tens of thousands at the casinos gambling, I'm going to laugh when they have to file for bankruptcy....

A guy I know used to work at a casino, and he used to tell me about these guys coming in spending like $10,000 gambling. I really hate people like that. I despise them. We have people in third world countries starving, and these idiots are dropping grands gambling, losing most of their money. They can do whatever they want since it is their cash, but if I had enough money to spend like that, I would much rather use it to help humanity instead of wasting it in a casino.

been doing some gambling, most of it at the roulette tabels.the thing is , you need a system. If you don't have a system don't even start. You'll simply lose your money in a matter of minutes.

Those that are into Roulette betting, here are some nice methods i use.

Good luck to all those who do, and remember never to gamble your bread money.
