have u ever donated to them ? i donate frequently something from what i earn online . donated to wikipedia nd GNU i beleive they are providing us with great service nd softwares . so i should contribute to their efforts by donating ( cannot do much of programming stuff) what abut u ?
Wouldn't it be better to donate to starving children rather than an open dictionary/encyclopedia? I donated a little while ago to this thing... it was on a torrent website... and digg, well, I don't know! I was also thinking of donating to Ron Paul's campaign, but I don't actually know what the money goes to :\
I do donate here and then, you know.. when little kids knock on my door and ask money for blind people, or cancer, or whatever... But donate to Wikipedia? I don't know, it just seems stupid I have this feeling that these guys can take care of themself without my help

Nope, though I find they are really doing a fantastic job but there are a lot of charities in my own country that need my money. And I am not Bill Gates, I need to donate whatever I have carefully as these are scarce resources.
