Good for you but i believe there is space for religion just because science does not have answers to everything and in those tough time people still don't loose hope with their believe in god (Hate people fighting on the name of religion)
I don`t believe there`s a super intelligent being that is taking care of us, and i don`t believe in science as a religion. I believe that Science will give us answers in time to all of our questions.
I believe in both. I don't see why God could not have created science and all the mechanics behind it. I don't see science as a disproving factor of religion at all but more so of a contributing factor of why religion is indeed relevant and such a thing in our lives.
The question is provocative by itself. Science is for knowing not believing. Religion is about believing and experiencing. Experience is the point where they interact, belief-knowledge is where they often contradict.. Show me that ignorant Christian that would say " Jesus created humans first". Doesn't Bible say it was actually Jehovah?
Somehow I believe in God and science. But Jehovah? The name isn't found in any scriptures... which century did this name came up if you knew?
And why can't someone believe in both God and science? They are not exclusive, you know. The problem, I think is that many people assume that science and God are opposed to one another and you can't believe in both. But the fact is, not everything modern scientists claim to be true really is; likewise, not everything that religious individuals claim about God is true. If something has not been definitively proven, it really isn't science, even if every scientist were to believe it. Likewise, the reason there is so much division within religions is that people generally cannot agree with one another about things like interpretation and what not. God and science can easily coexist as long as humans quit being dictators about it.
The problem is that you don´t know. Your claim shows that your ignorance about God and science, otherwise you will know that it is exclusive.
The problem is not that I "don't know"; the problem is that you think you do. Too many people in this world have this ignorant idea that the men and women writing thesis and journals about science define what science is, but nothing could be further from the truth. Science is nothing more than the laws that govern existence. It is gravity; it is Hubble's Law; it is planetary motion and so on. What you've done is confuse the forest with the trees, so to speak. Science is what it is whether or not scientists have discovered or accepted it. Do you think gravity was not a scientific fact before it was discovered by Newton? It most certainly was and the beliefs of scientists at the time had nothing to do with it. God and science have never been exclusive; it's the ideas of men about both that have.
A lot of blah, blah and you jump to the existance of an imaginery guy in sky. There is no guy in sky, just get over it.
As typical, you just sound like an idiot. Please stop wasting my time and everyone else's with your idiotic blather
By believing in God, you have wasted your whole life, so wasting time is the last thing you should complain about. The logic of morons such as you: Mountains are huge, lakes are big, flowers are beautiful, so the imaginary guy in sky exists.
Just as the moronic blather of idiots such as yourself proves there must be higher intelligence on earth, the presence of chaos and destruction in the cosmos proves there must be a God. I don't expect you to understand that and quite honestly, I couldn't care less if you did; your loss, not mine. And if you choose to waste your time sounding like a complete dumb ass, that's fine, but I'm going to move on to other more relevant topics in this forum. Feel free to continue this discussion with yourself if you like
To see morons like you exist, we should draw the conclusion that even if the imaginary guy in the sky existed, he was as dumb ass as you, to make such morons.
