Do Twitter Pages Appear in Google Search Results? So far, Google has indexed 109 million pages of Twitter.

My question is that will those indexed Twitter pages appear in top Google search results?

Since Google has index pages, they may appear in Google search result but the contents on twitter (in your account) is updated regularly so you may not get much more benefit from it.

Yes, you will see twitter post in Google index but not real-time yet. You may try like this : topic name +site:twitter.com , you can compare the result with search.twitter.com

    Depends on the keyword.

For some small keywords ( like unusual names), the twitter profile for people shows up on the first page.

somtimes you may find that if your twitter acount is the big keyword

eg www.twitter.com/keyword.com it can come up in google on page 4 5 or something like that if it was an big keyword but as for posts its unlikely if its an big keyword on one off my sites my twitter account comes up in google on page 4 i think

Over the last couple of weeks it appears that more and more Twitter search results pages have started ranking on Google for “news” type queries.

This is interesting because Twitter has made no efforts to ensure the search pages are SEO friendly and even goes as far as blocking Google from spidering the pages using robots.txt.

I was surprised seeing 190 million pages of Twitter having been indexed by Google. I was wondering if those pages would substitute real blog post in terms of top search results.
