The search engine submitter might work but other are not sure. If they have own network directories, then it've a chance to work. Some of the tools like these one do submission the submitted site through third party software. They just save the data through their website and later they do through automatic or semi-automate submitter.

Most people with experience will tell you that you should submit to these sites at least once a month but not more often. Apparently you do have to submit more than once, but you must balance by guarding against spamming. I'm really not convinced at this time, that this is the best way to promote your website or blog. An instant burst of traffic from other sources like a good paid safe list is better, in my opinion.

    I like that.
    1st is social bookmarking
    2nd is Search engine submission
    3rd is Directory submission.

All of these methods will have influence of where you place on the search engine. The site that you're competiting with may not have done these methods.
so you may rank above them. If you do so.

Personally with the 2nd method. The only search engine that counts in my opinion is Google, Yahoo and Bing. They would make up about 90% of traffic on most of my sites.
In most of my sites, Google has 70+% share.

So by submitting to hundreds of search engines, you'd be aiming for the other 10%.

The key is finding the best method to generate the most backlinks with the least amount of time spent.
I haven't found that key yet.

Those 3 tools you mentioned are only a basic tools. They cannot help your site ranking overnight anyway. You have to do other ways of SEO altogether to seeing the benefits.

    - Social Bookmarking is a known for short term traffics and link
    - Search Engine Submission - Submit only once and forget it.
    - Directory Submission - Submit and forget it. You cannot rely too much on most web directories these day.
