    Hi, i have a pagerank on 4 on one of my sites, and i want to get higher up with a keyword, do this work if i post a link on my own site to the same site with this keyword?

    This will help but avoid link farm .. using that once in 5 pages is Ok !!

    Its nice to do this but remember you won't get any benefit in serp.

    If you want to do internal link then do it no problem. You can provide as many as internal links.
