is it possible to earn money by selling and buying currency?

It is possible but requires current knowledge of the markets and you have to keep up on it daily. It's less risk then stocks but still a risky business with smaller margins.

and you should add high inversion and you also need lots of knowledge.

If you guess the movement of the currencies, yes, but I think gambling is easier, at least for me

You can make something like a forum where people can sell and buy E-Cash..

Then as you see some good no. of visitors, try hiring someone to code a script as your plan.

My boss has been wanting to retire and get into something like Forex trading to bring in some supplemental income and give him something to do at home.

That being said, he's got the money to invest, and I was wondering if there were coaches or mentors you can hire to get you started (real ones, not BS ebook ones).

Anyone know of any reputable sites I could point him to?

THere are lots of practice accounts out there. Try them first, read all you can, and if you feel, after 3 months that you can make money, then do it.

It's a zero sum game. You would be better off daytrading, although I'd recommend against that as well.
