With my newest blog, I don't want it to be a screaming mess of Google ads. But, of course, I also want readers to "appreciate" the ads. So I ended up placing a few link units and blending them in. Here's the blog link: Making Healthy Food Choices Are the ads noticeable (not in an annoying way, though)? Any advice and opinions are appreciated. Thank you!
yeah it seems ok it is noticeable and not annoying for me but i think someone will rarely click on them....
Yeah, I was afraid of that. I wasn't sure if readers on a food review blog would be much into clicking on ads. But I really like the topic, so I went ahead with it.
Nice but easily spotted. Link units suck though. once you click on them your taken to another page where you gotta click another one. I don't use these myself. nICE COLORS THOUGH. (DAMN CAPS LOCK)
Okay, I changed the ads to link text. Should I get rid of the the ad above the blog post or that usually a good location for getting clicks? (I'm worried that people will automatically click away from the page just by seeing the ad.) Making Healthy Food Choices
Yeah, sorry about that. I was playing around with the colors because I added a photoshopped pic for the blog title and thought the white background looked off. I changed the background to a pale yellow, so hopefully that helps. I also changed the Google ad titles to a neon sort of green to get them to stand out a little better.
Your site seems a little blinding and hard to read..well the ads do anyway. I'd go for a color scheme changeup
