    It probably won't hurt to have anchored dofollow link from the thread, however most of them carry 0 page rank. The popular threads can yield quite a bit of referral traffic though.

    It helps, but giving very less contribution, as you can see there's a lot of outgoing links in a single page of every thread pages in DP.
