Do teens click on your ads?

    I am debating whether to build a big community site for the general masses (with 13+ up members) or an over 18 plus community site.

    Obviously, one is advertising revenue generated while the other is membership based.

    What are your thoughts? I know Under 18 year olds generate alot of traffic, but i also know that i can maximize with recurring memberships as well.

    your opinion is greatly appreciated.

    ime they give good ctr but ads must be blended and rotated well to avoid ads blindness.

    i think the bigger question is, can a social community site handle a membership payment system.

    Hi Chowda,

    I think it depends what you really want to get out of it. If you want just basic traffic or if you want traffic, plus members and sales. :confused:

    As many more teens of 13 are on the net I also think that not as many are browsing than young adults. Considering after school activities, homework, and basically computer and internet access.
    18+ have more access and many are college students, whom use the web for projects, general browsing, music and movie downloading, (porn) and ofcourse the use of email and instant messenger.
