I did a Keyword search using Jaaxy for a longtail keyword. One of the options Jaaxy gave me back had the word "in" in it. It showed the exact same monthly search results as the root keyword, but the competition went down by a few hundred, from over 400 to less than 200. I've bought the domain with the word "in" in it, as this keyword doesn't have much competition but has over 400,000 monthly searches (hopefully a goldmine). Does Google really pick up whether I have the "in" or not? If people are searching with the "in" will that make a difference? It doesn't seem to be, it's been a month and i've submitted a few articles and added quite a few blog posts ect, still not even ranking on any pages.... I thought owning the .com domain with those exact keywords would get me up there for sure.
