Google and yahoo are having different services. for instance, google is having image search, video search, blog search, book search and of course the web search.

Do google follow the same algo for all of its product for betterment of the search? I mean, do they follow the same concepts to refine their search results?
i.e. 1) page relevancy for keywords 2) link popularity of the page 3) good user experience of the page etc

The simple and obvious answer is: no. For instance, a site that's banned from adsense isn't also immediately banned from the google serps.
The user experience is only measured (let alone used) in adwords, as far as I'm aware. It can't be used for the web in general because the web is too diverse.

thanks for your feedback. I heard that google now looks more for the link popularity to rank higher in the serp but yahoo considers on page factors more important. My doubt is if google follows the same algo for video/image search as it uses while web search.
