Do search engines treat - as a space?

    I have this doubt since because I am about to launch a website targeting a 2 word keyword,I didnt get the perfect domain name,but I got the domain name with a -.I just want to know will the search engines treat - as a space so that it will rank well for my product

    Yes, they do. Well actually, I don't know that they see it as a space as much as they just ignore it all together. Either way, if you're good at SEO, mydomain.com and my-domain.com will rank equally as well.
