Do search engines differentiate between index, home and subpages?

    Do search engines prioritize individual pages ? Say the most important one, and the one that would be 'visited by the search engine' would always be
    the index page, only then the home page and only then any other subpage?
    Or don't they differentiate between those individual pages at all.

    Search Not Depend on main and Sub Page

    They don't differentiate, but home page is the most important page in terms of visibility. However there is no particular weight given to a specific page, there are many blogs where specif inner pages rank better than the home page. Internal pages count a lot!
