Do SBI (Site Build it) sites rank better than other sites by default?

    Would an SBI made site for a niche rank better than the competitor site made on an average HTML template?

    This is without factoring in back-links. Just pure content vs content.

    If both sites are done the same, there is no advantage one over the other.
    Of course if the html site is done badly and the sbi site has already basic seo automatically done, then yes the html site would have a disadvantage. So the question is vague.
