Do Same-Page Links Help You In The SERPS?

    What I mean is, if I have a link on a page of my site that connects to a different part of the same page (a bookmark?) does this help with SEO if it's optimized to do so by making it an H1-H2 with appropriate keywords, etc...?

    Or do these links not do anything for SEO?

    Good Question. To be honest I dont know for sure But I would think it wouldnt. Waiting to hear from the experts on this one though

    Nice Question , i am also not the expert but i think it will .

    Heading tags can help improve your listing, with the "heading" search engines figure that they are very closely related to the content of the page.

    I cannot see it helping at all, a page won't pass pagerank to itself only other webpages.
