If I have a nice site and I'm running adsense, affiliates programs and other money making ads, are these feeds really helping me? I know without the feeds it would take a long time to build up Unique Visitors however wouldn't it be worth it? You know if you're really good at creating good content that will be read and it only getting seen on readers, how is this helping me? We all know 85 if not 100% of us are trying to make a buck and like this how can it happen if your not getting visitors to your site and these online reader are picking up your feeds all day long? Maybe there is something I'm missing here
So how long have you had your site? Are you getting live visitors? how many a day? I don't mean to ask so many questions I'm just wondering aabout my site if it's doing ok or not
Well, to judge if a site is doing well is quite simple - does it make a profit ( or likely to do so?). To compare my site traffic to yours would be meaningless unless we are both in indentical markets.
Yeah, RSS feeds do help you get your site noticed. For example, I put unique urls in my RSS feeds and later in my log files I see google spidering the urls from the rss feeds, so I think of it as an 'unofficial sitemap'
thats a good way to look at it Richard. i'm finally setting up RSS feeds on my site. bout time i got with the times and sorted that out. should hopefully drive some more traffic for me
