Do RSS feeds on your site really help SERP?

    I was wondering if RSS feeds on your site from relevant topics hurt or help your rankings (SERP).

    rss feeds does not effect the serp result directly . search engines will have more information about your site with the help pf your rss feeds

    I think Ratman2050 was meaning that if you make your own RSS feed and have it syndicated you'd do better. For example, I made one RSS feed for casino news. I wrote all of the arrticles and placed them in a RSS format. You can see my example here. Casino RSS .

    To answer your question about serving up RSS content on your site. I think that it could help in moderation because you are providing new content continually. I think you'd have to do it in moderation though in order to avoid duplicate content penalties.
