Do RSS feeds help your search ranking?

    I recently added an RSS feed for my forum. There is a feed for the entire forum, as well as a feed for each individual forum.

    I currently only get around 20-30 posts per day, but do you think search engines will like this and move me up?

    Rumor is it helps for Yahoo, but to my knowledge not for MSN or G.

    I suppose it all depends on how many websites use your rss and the quality of these websites.

    But most rss contents are full of outbound links , so that is gonna be PR leaking for your website

    Perhaps you are misinterpreting. I am creating the RSS feed, not displaying it on my site.
