Do robots hop?

One of my sites that was recently started seems to always have every hoplink hit an exactly equal amount of times. That's 9 different tracking codes / links. If one gets 3, they all get 3. My guess on this is robots. Do they follow links and register a hop even with the nofollow tag? There any way to stop it?

Not a big deal since I'm not ultra tight on tracking etc. just weird.

    They hob..It is kinda annoying.
The only solution is to build a list and email your list about the purchase link.

I think digg robots especially hop all affiliates links on your page. Especially links with pictures. I have that problem too.
