As above. Been told that if you use PPC (yahoo or google) adwords show in backlinks. Does this help website seo?
I'm not sure about the backlinks thing, but I highly doubt it. As far as SEO, some search engines frown upon paid links. Once an engine can detect that a link is paid, odds are their algorithm will do something to discount the link (similar to reciprocal linking). This includes monthly/yearly paid links and PPC. This link "discount" doesn't hurt your SERPS, but it doesn't help it. Also, PPC links usually aren't static, and they usually don't link directly to the site; so even if a search engine wanted to credit the link, they may have a tough time. For an example, right-click on an Adwords ad in this forum and select "copy link location," and then paste the result in notepad. The link will look like http://pagead2.googlesyndication.co...gle+Advertising&kw3=Google+CPC&okw=Google+ADS ...I don't even see the destination URL in there, just the referrer. In this case, there's no chance for anyone other than Google to generate a backlink, unless the search engine: 1) Strips the "Destination URL" from the PPC ad text. Or 2) The search engine follows the link and uses the resulting page URL for the backlink. Personally, I really don't think it helps at all. If it did, you could easily buy your way to the top of a search engine. All of those companies spending thousands per day on PPC would already rank at the top everywhere. ...And that wouldn't really be fair I hope this helps, Michael
PPC advertisements are usually driven with Javascript, and therefore can't transfer PageRank or link juice. Cryo.
They can when people scrape pages that have the ads on them then turn them into links on your scraped pages.
Actually PPC cannot give you live link because they have to track 'clicks' so they use javascript. But ads from TLA or other text link brokers give live links
I would assume they do not as the PPC link works like this Site showing Advert > Advert provider (Such as yahoo) who check the link click is correct > You So if anything they helping with PR to Google. Though they will help with traffic, for a bit.
PPC ads from the major providers (Google, Yahoo, MSN) do not have any direct effect what-so-ever on organic search results or PR. No direct effect, none, notta, zero, zippo, nothing. From the source...
what i know is that PPC can driven you traffic but not for backlinks...notice that when you ask for advice in regards to traffic PPC will be listed there but if you ask for backlinks it'll not...
