I am running a directory in http://www.belmos.com. Visitors are submitting regular links not paid links in my directory. what about your directories, do peoples buying paid links, if yes then how many a day.
Unless you’re offering a good quality product people will not purchase it. You are offering a basically empty directory that looks like thousands of others. Why would anybody want to pay to be in it?
I know for sure Google don't like directories anymore,I had one with a good PR and has dropped to 0 suddenly.
People on the Internet tend to prefer free stuff. If you offer free regular links, they will go for it. But if you're offering pay-for-review links, then they will consider the quality of your directory before paying. The bottom line is to build a quality directory first, before you think of people rushing in to submit links.
People used in past In past month not a single link is bought from my directory http://www.raolinkbid.info http://www.happylivelinks.info
Times are hard and the recession has people clutching on to their money more than ever. If I were you, I wouldn't expect too much cash flowing in regardless of how good or bad a directory is...
I get paid submissions but their not counted in how many a day but more like how many a month, or did i even get one last month.
I can agree with this. We have been getting a few car dealerships as of late and also from the previous subscriptions 1-2 years ago which is a welcome surprise I think we got 6 months to one year before the economy kicks back in and things start picking up again... time will tell laterz malcolm
