to content sites, or is it sites that have a greater ecommerce/affiliate focus?

What are their rates per click, anyway?

If you are gonna be using adbrite in the hope of sales, then you must take your time and research the site which your ad will go up on. At the right CPC and correct target market you will be able to get something out of it.

Yes, I use AdBrite for traffic. You have to really research and choose the site you want to advertise on very carefully though.

For adbrite be very careful where youi advertise because you can lose a lot of money.

Test and Test. Adbrite does has some good traffic once you know where to advertise.

Depending on what I advertise I could bring a couple of sales each day from adbrite. But, I know which sites work best.

I used it on a few sites, not really great. I guess it all depends on the sites.

I have to agree with the others that you have to select the sites yourself. I have experimented with advertising on the AdBrite network and I found that many of the clicks were coming from suspect sites. Now, I only buy advertising on select sites after lots of research on the amount and quality of traffic they can provide. If you take the time to look through the directory, you can buy lots of cheap clicks on good sites. For example, I recently paid $0.36 for a 30-day ad that has converted 2 visitors only after 3 days. You can't beat that with AdWords :)

But general network ads (more impressions [Brand awareness]) and target all western countries where if you have something like adsense, it will pay more for a click.
