Do People Still Use Forums for Link Building?

Forum spammers are burns in hell

 

I still use it, but nowadays moderators are all sensitive enough to sig link and always delete it or ban the ID

 

yeah! I can see you doing it and others too. This is still a very popular method. And the bounce rate is the best. People stay longer and come again and again if you have something good to offer.

 

Many people uses Forums as one method to get links. But you have to aware because not all Forums can give you nice link juice. Search for related Forums with your niche, posting there regularly and you'll get the links you wanted.

 

They do help, but i woul advise you to join just those forums that are related with your web site.

Forums really do work well for link building, but it should be used in effective ways, not by just getting dropped in throwing away the links.. It wont work much as you might be expecting, you need to be constant member for those community and dedicate your more time, not less then 1 month. You will definitely sees traffics getting pulled towards your website or forum. For promoting webmaster forum, forums I can say is the best way and even the nice place for promotion. You can drive traffics even by giving some cash prizes or certain limits of post with decent comments or threads. You should announce the constant that its valid upto 1 month or 2 month and whoever scores the best post with number of post will win prizes, if you tries this you will see the increase in joining of the new members. This technique I've tried and promoted like 40 forums. Well try it and best of luck, I am sure you will see results. Yea never forget to bookmark some decent post on multiple social bookmarking site and use as much on twitter even.

 

I don't use signature forums to build backlinks but oly to get traffic because backlinks from na page rank don't worth anything.

 

firstly it is the nice way to promote the links of the respective site.there are majority of the people who only do the link building for increase in Pr.

 

I've tried it and it actually does work, but it takes a lot of time. Sometimes you'll get blacklisted if you don't make some relevant posts first. MS forums are notorious for that. I use odesk or something similar to find a cheap forum poster for link building. It is worth the $ in my time to pay someone else.

Sure, forums with signature links are a part of the SEO mix...just make sure they allow do-follow links in your signatures--as well as a quality forum!

Its one of the most easy ways to get backlinks, most of them aren't that valuable in the begin but you never know .
