Do People Obtain Links On Warez Sites

Howdy,

I was wondering firstly what a Warez site is all about and what type of companies/people would be most interested in picking up links on such a site? I imagine the same answer fits both questions. I probably could have googled this, but I imagine I'll get a more accurate response here.
