I plan to open an adsense account...... shud i provide my permanent address at India or shud i provide a temporary address in US ???? Do i make more money depending on the place i live ????
What shud i not think ........... not providing a temporary address or that people from other countries make money out of Adsense ??????
Your location is irrelevent to your earnings. Your visitor location on the other hand will affect it (the ads shown to them will vary, as will the payout).
The only difference between US publishers and others publishers like me is that we don't have access to video and mobile ads( as I heart they suck, so no big deal here). We still get payed in us dollars and we get payed by the value of clicks, not the location.
when your income reaches USD 10, Google will send a PIN to the address you put in adsense via postal mail. You need to be able to get that mail and enter the number into google within 4 months.
My reasoning was - if i am an indian publisher, the ads wud mostly be by indian advertisers, who in turn might pay less per clicks, hence pulling down my income....... sounds logical ????
let me tell you u something, every one visits your site sees a different ad, it depends on his or her location, so giving other address dont effect anything sorry to say that a stupid plan..

To the OP: You address has nothing to do with the earning. it is the address of your visitors that matter. The IP address that is 100 dollars is quite good in India. You can have a maid who will come cook and clean everyday for that much. But a loaf of bread is not the best indicator. Somethings are cheaper even in dollars terms in the US than India. Gas is cheaper.. I got a Guess jeans for 89 Dollars.. It costs about 130 dollars in India. A walmart loaf of bread that cost about 1.3 dollar will cost about 50 cents in India. a 50 cent Aldi Can of meat can cost 1 dollar in India..
