    At least if its paid you kinda know that the owner is looking for quality. Its much easier to sift through 5 paid links a day than 100-200 of them in your free directory.

    Hi Gunda,

    I have never heard anyone looking for a PR-0 page to buy a link for his site. Yes its true that after a few months a PR-0 site may gain some PR if the site admin makes the site useful and plays safe. But I don’t think anybody would want to wait for a site to gain in terms of PR. Why not spend your money on high PR sites if you are gonna do it.

    It will entirely depend on Directory Owner or Group of people may be, working under that directory.

    That should give a impression of whether the site will be getting a increase in PR along with more developments or not.

    Mostly I buy based on owner's reputation...sometimes just before a PR update when I see that the owner has put good effort in link building :D.
