I don't mean your average keyword articles. I am talking about a very specific article. For example: - You have the *mother* niche (travel) - Underneath that is the *baby* niche (hotels for tourists) - I want to go beneath that...and review small hotels Secondary example: - You have the *mother* niche (real estate) - Underneath that is the *baby* niche ("City" real estate) - I want to go beneath that...and review specific condo buildings Not sure if it makes sense. The articles would just be good for very specific sites like for a travel agency or realtor I suppose. Is this valuable at all to someone to put in directories? I wrote some articles that are really specific like that for a buyer but he backed out. He is not using the content either. They are really well done but it seems that no one has a use for them. To save you the reading, I want to know: Do people buy random articles within their niche to put into directories? Thanks
You're right, it doesn't make sense. j/k Of course, content is king. What better way is there to get yourself noticed than by providing something helpful and on point? As for buying them, yes, if they can't write them on their own, it wouldn't hurt to give it a try (at least once). It boils down to time versus money, right?
Sure people pay writers to create articles for the article directories. The value of your articles on the open market will depend upon how competitive the "mother" and "baby" markets are. Another option is to put your own brand on them to sell your writing services in those niches.
To use your example of condominium reviews--if the reviews are positive, why not approach the owner of the condominium developer and ask if he/she would like that article for use in his/her marketing materials? You might also try selling it to a local newspaper/regional magazine that caters to locals. If the niche is something that you are very interested in, you might use the articles to start a website on which you can sell advertising space! There are plenty of ways that niche specific articles can be sold besides simple directory use.
They do, but if your promoting your site, i think the back links are more important then content to be honest
If it's not well written, a visitor might not put much creedence in the link. Yeah, having the link is important for search engines... but not sounding like an idiot is important in my eyes. I want the reader to say. Oh, this sounds neato, let me look further. (naive?) Maybe I need to sharpen my claws.
I did buy articles on guru dot com for $5 around 400 words.Just pay attention to one thing when picking words. One and two words are for searching, like "honeymoon vacation" buyers would pick 3 and more like " discount hotel in Paris". You have to have searches but it doesn't mean that you will sell just because lot's of people is searching for some word. If you just want to be popular blogger go big, you will have lots of visitors but zero sales. Syndicate your content posted on directory's .Go to EzineArticle, post an article, socialbookmark it to get more viral traffic.Socialbookmark is digg or twitter,... Good luck
