I consider creating an android cell phones review Amazon affiliate website, but I'm not sure if it is worth creating it. Do people buy cell phones on Amazon? Don't most people get their phones from their network provider rather than from Amazon.com?

Also, what is the maximum commission rate for electronics?

Definitely, a lot of people do buy cellphones from Amazon considering it can be convenient at times.

As for the rates, they have a scaled commission pyramid wherein you get paid more, I think, if you sell more. Goes up to 8.5%

I don't know the numbers but it would seem odd to me to purchase a cell phone from Amazon when you could go directly to the carrier and get what you want/need. Seeing as how the iPhone is sort of taking over the smartphone market globally, most of those purchasers go to their local Apple store. For me Amazon is more about buying movies as they have some of the most outstanding Blu-Ray prices I've ever seen.
