I've been thinking about this lately... i have a few "okay" performers I'd like to potentially sell but don't know if people actually buy them? Like one I'd like to get rid of I created on the 2nd of this month and its made $1,614.42 so far... It's ranking 3rd for main buyer keyword in the natural rankings on Google and 2nd on Yahoo... I also threw up an Adwords campaign and I've spent $62.07 to drive about 172 visitors... so total profit has been $1,552.35 since the 2nd of September... total visits according to Google Analytics is 606 (have all of the proof to give the buyer)... Do people buy these websites and campaigns? Where would I sell 'em? How much should I ask for? Thanks guys and gals!!!
Honestly, I'd be interested in. I would say it depends whether you want to sell exclusively or lease the pages out. Of course, exclusive rights would fetch more cash.
Run the site for 4-5 more months, if you manage to get a consistent income in the area of 1500$ each month for 4-5 months, than you could possibly sell the site for around 15k. Best place to sell it probably would be flippa.com
Thanks for the info guys!!! I'll keep this one running so I can show the consistency. Maybe i'll sell some other campaigns I've been running for like 6 months. P.S. that flippa site is effing awesome!
Let me know should you be interested in selling any, I just might give it some consideration into purchasing one.
Same here, you could just list it on sitepoint or flippa and send people the link, they help you list out all the details people want plus you can answer their questions there directly. If you can show that your site doesn't need too much extra work put in it then I'd be interested in buying too.
Yeah thats what i will do. Checking out flippa is my everyday's routine. If you list it there, there are buyers for sure...
