What if you need a backlink from a PR6 website, obviously they will be reluctant to do as they are one of the most trusted websites. I am ready to pay them to get a backlink, the link will from the relevant domain. The question is, how will Google react to it? Will Google come to know that I have paid for that backlink? if yes, how? Thank you in advance.
Well depends on the link providing website.. If the link selling PR6 site provides one way links to less pr or no pr websites over a period of time, it can get noticed by google engine. After that google may observe it for some more time and if the same pattern is followed over a period of time (2-3 months approx)google detects it as a paid link provider. Google reaction: The link providing website will be penalized and the backlink you got will hold no value.

I think that @diziadvice pointed very well to that article. As conclusion - to buy a backlink is not the best method to do SEO
Not many people purchase paid links these days, but only unless if the sites are reputable with quality content. Today, some big corporate firms also may rely on paid links to get traffic back to sites.
I am really curious why do you think this is NOT a good method for SEO? If you choose the blog well and in the same niche, an in-content link will work great!
Is not a good method to buy backlinks - if you have a blog that you know it very well and you can control it then can be a good asset, but in the moment when something bad will happen to that blog - the next bad will be redirected to your website. So you'll have to be sure that the blog that will hold your backlink will be safe, that's it. For me is better to make your own blogs with the backlink on them.
Why not? You can still buy all the links you want, provided that you get a rel=nofollow attribute attached to them. Helpful for classical SEO? Not really, but if they are well placed, they can turn into a great source of traffic. A tip about the anchor texts: let the webmaster choose them. That's the only way to keep them "natural" and relevant to their website.
Buying links for PR will get your site slammed by Google. Buying text link advertising for traffic on sites that use the nofollow link attribute is fine.
There is no way you can tell is a link is bought and if you cant nor can google, there are some really obvious paid links that you will spot a mile away and these are the ones that will flag you up. Its all about the site you buy from, does it have a load of links on the side? Does it have a paid links sections etc?
Its not that the link is paid, its about where the link is been placed? Google can recognize a link as paid when it is placed under the right navigation or footer or as a banner ad. But when you place a link within the content/article/blogpost it cannot be considered to be a paid link. Therefore, do not place your link under blogroll or footer.
As a precaution why should we buy links if we can get it without paying? If we want link from a site then we can also link to them from our site as an external link. which will increase our site's creditability..Here's a best answer http://webdesign.about.com/od/beginningtutorials/qt/external-links.htm
Paid links still do work. But you need to be careful. Is the link you are buying from a PR6 page? Or on a subpage with a lower PR? Unless your site already has some pretty strong links coming in, suddenly adding a PR6 will look suspicious. Also, where is the link? In body content? In the margin sitewide? It makes a difference. If you do buy the link, keep in mind that the link won't have a huge ranking impact immediately like a PR6 link would have in the old days. So if you are renting the link on a monthly basis make sure you can afford to stick with it. Also, whatever you do "DON'T PUT A HIGH CPC KEYWORD PHRASE IN THE ANCHOR TEXT!" You are asking for serious trouble if you do.
anthonym is right. Google's Penguin update penalizes for keyword rich anchor text, so if you go down that route and wish to stay in Google's good book, use your brand name or your domain name or even your real name if applicable.
Search engines are not able to detect paid links especially high priced links. I think SE's had to devalue all the links (paid and natural all together) and value more all the other factors in ranking. Thus paid links still work but not as before. Natural links also don't work as before. The result will be less satisfactory when you buy links or when you have more natural links. Nothing has changed except that. FYI, if you confuse, paid links are not spam unless you pay for spamming.
paid links works!!!! but for a limited time period. if paid links are done correctly, sites will usually see an increase in rankings. Majority of SEO Experts insist that these paid links are still a viable strategy when it comes to optimizing a site. These links are good to promote your site and always carry a great amount of weight for seo purposes.
