Blogs that allow commenting but have a redirect. For example this blog - http://www.windowswatch.co.uk/2008/12/patch-available.html#comments The comments appear to be dofollow, but if you look closely they are redirected. Does anyone know if it will still give juice to your page?
I looked at the page source and the signatures in the comments don't have any "nofollow" attributes. So I would have to say that this would "give juice to your page".
hmm...not exactly sure because the links are redirected to where they actually go, they are not linked directly to the sites in question. Nigel
If you can find a page indexed in a search engine then there is likely value in an incoming link that is not reciprocated. Links should drive traffic in and of themselves. SEO benefits are secondary.
Sorry I meant to say the links are "dofollow" but they are linked to a redirect page which then takes you to the anchor text. So it is not directly linked.
Comments don't have any "nofollow" attributes, how ever you didn't get link juice because pages are redirected but you will get visitors traffic
I agree with Mr. Mojorisin, though the links are dofollow but the still cant get any link juice as they are being passed through a redirected page.
