Hello from Mixxer Wondering why I used such a title for this thread? Read on... If you use adwords to sell affiliate products then I have a very useful trick that might boost your sales. If several people are promoting similar offers then you will see all of them using attractive headlines in praise of their products. In such a situation it becomes difficult to stand apart from the crowd & grab the end-user's attention. The trick here is to be VERY unusual & encourage people NOT to buy the product UNTIL: ------------------------------------- They have read your review about the product you are promoting. ----OR---- They have tried competitor's products and are unsatisfied with them. ------------------------------------- Take for example there is an ebook called "Affiliate Marketing Secrets" & is promoted like a hot cake by several affiliates. Now what most of the affiliates do is create an adwords campaign with titles like "Buy Affiliate Marketing Secrets" or "Affiliate Marketing Secrets Exposed" or "Affiliate Marketing Revealed" etc etc. You can have your ad stand apart by using a title like "Don't Buy Affiliate Marketing Secrets". Using this kind of a title has SEVERAL benefits. Consider the two ad variations below: Ad Variation 1 -------------- Don't Buy Affiliate Marketing Secrets Read our review first Before spending your hard earned money www.Affiliate Marketing Secrets.com Ad Variation 2 -------------- Don't Buy Affiliate Marketing Secrets Until you have tried our competitor's products and are highly unsatisfied with them www.Affiliate Marketing Secrets.com 1. BOTH the ads will boost your CTR because people will be curious to know why one out of ten is telling you NOT to buy the book. 2. Higher CTR results in good QS which in turn reduces your cost per click. This again will get you better ad placement than your competitor's. AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS: If done 'CORRECTLY', Using this unusual approach of telling people not to buy your product WILL boost your sales even if your product is not as good as your competitor's and EVEN IF IT COSTS MORE! This approach makes them feel that other products MIGHT fail them, and they might want to try your product! Best of luck - Mixxer
i use it all the time... works like a charm, but this is old news... perry marshall explained this back in his 2004 version of definitive guide and was later use by day job killer.
Yeah its an old trick but DP is not yet saturated with experts There are lots of newbies around who don't even have sufficient dollars to spend on the above mentioned ebooks
