I agree. Gmail rarely gives me problems and when it does they are very small.

I have both Yahoo and Gmail email accounts. I really like Gmail with it's simplicity compared with Yahoo which seems like it's bombarding you with ads.

 

I feel for you and I understand your pain, I've had a couple of Yahoo acounts and have had nothing but problems and spam from them. You may want to consider opening a GMail account, it has most of the features paid yahoo accounts have for free (including SMTP).

I've been using Yahoo for as long as I can remember. All of the sudden, my mail sucks. It's been crappy all day today. If this continues, I'm def. leaving Yahoo!

 

Yahoo?! Thats really weired. I've never heard anything bad about yahoo emails till now!
I have a yahoo account that I get mostly spam emails, and I've switched to Gmail long time ago, and I'm really happy with my Gmail Account.
I rarely use my live mail, although everytime I go to live mail, I find something new, but Gmail Rocks
btw, Yahoo Domains(small business) is a really bad service. never try it (although it's $1.99 each domain)

I had myaccount at yahoo mail before and I also experienced like that problem. I think it's their server who has problem.

If that's the case better use gmail.. gmail is friendly and easy to use email.. The messages is always on time. From Yahoo sometimes I wait for the messages to wait from an hour to a day! Sad to say!

 

i have also had problems with yahoo for years now but i can't ditch them because i love Yahoo Answers. i have gotten my questions answered there so i cannot leave it.
but i do not use their email much. i prefer MSN and Gmail.

Yeah Yahoo sucks. Why don't you use a free Gmail account instead of paid yahoo?

Prefer gmail over yahoo. Gmail gives me very little problem ever. The only thing is that yahoo exists longer. Does anybody know how to transfer old yahoo emails to gmail account?

Gmail is the best....Amazing Speed!! No problems atall.
Next, the gmail: email search is excellent....with exact matches...
No major probs with Yahoo though....except that it sometimes a few hours for an email someone sent to reach you!!
But the Yahoo email search is OK...but it doesn't compare to gmail email search....
Next I like the Gmail design much much better...easy to use and easy on the eye.....and it uses text ads!!
While yahoo is more flashy banner advertisemnt oriented...and I don't like their design!!
