Exactly, I don't even know why someone would waste $8 bucks or whatever it is for premium mail service.
I paid the money back in the day in order to gain more space. I never had an issue with Yahoo! Mail until this week. However, it was horrible. I still have not even heard back from support and the problem started on Sunday. My account said "Unusual Activity. Account has been locked for 48 hours for your protection." 48 hours later it still did not work. I called tech support over and over. They just read prompts and the Supervisor tells you, you are SOL, we passed it off the Engineering department and we can't contact them really. Finally some random India Customer Service lady told me ... Delete all your e-mails and it might work .. I read online first and people commented it's a scam. That even though they provide you with X amount of space, if you go too high they pop up that error to force you to delete e-mails. So I deleted almost all my e-mails and what do you know ... It worked. I never got a legit response from "Tech Support" .. I kept getting this e-mail no matter what I wrote to them. They would just change the name of the person. It's Friday and I have yet to and probably never will get a legit response. Yahoo! might be fine .. Until you have a problem. This was on a paid account mind you. Also I had my PayPal account linked to my Yahoo account and because they suspended it .. All my PayPal payments to me failed.
I have had Yahoo since early 1998 and I have never had a problem. They are my main email address. I have a gmail but still prefer Yahoo. I can not see the advantage of a paid account with though.
I liked gmail a lot until someone hacked into my account and took them over a week to suspend the account, still dont have access. So I moved to yahoo mail which was ok until I got a couple hundred emails. Its too hard to navigate... Im not sure where Ill move next, probably hotmail...
yes, yahoo always have a problem...they should better upgrade their servicies if they want to keep users. i think the best service is your own server for mail, especialy if ur dealing with paypal or other servicies that require to recive or send money....it-s not so difficult to make ur own mail server...
what's happen about yahoo.com, i think that they have trouble in business. if so , it's bad news for us, who will make business through internet.
I have had a free yahoo account for years and have had very little trouble... IMHO some people bring their own troubles to their situation.
yup gmail is the option everyone is switching to, its quite clear why google is dominating they build up on everyone else's mistakes and they're always innovating
