    ----------------BEWARE DOMAINERS -------------------------

Innter.net is 100% fraud company and just reaping off people

First, I paid them for domain through credit card and then my credit card was used to buy air tickets in Austria without my knowledge ( I got payment back from my bank after couple of months) then I decided to transfer domain away from them, they refuse to give me key but I retrieve key from registry once domain name transfer to new registrar, I thought I am safe and have no concern with Innter.net but after 10 months of domain registration date I have received emails from Innter.Net to pay for domain renewal even domain is not with them????

Now it is more than 1 and half year and Innter.Net is still sending me invoices and asking me to pay and increasing the bill up to Euro 500 now for 1 domain name???

    DO NOT USE INNTER.NET BEWARE!

just google, Innter.net review and you will see their repetition

if you have any experience with Innter.net, please write it here

I had the same awful experience with Innter.net...Got a domain name, and after 10 month they started to ask me money for renewal. Now they have terminated the service, and from 50 euro starting price, after 13 month they want to charge me 400 €, charghing 100€ per hour to produce letters I'm not asking for.
Is there anybody that started a legal action against them. Or even a class action cause there must be lots of company involved in this fraud. Is everybody paying what these people are asking? Did someone had to appear in front of an austrian court?
Please, share your experience and how (if) you solved the problem.

Got the same demands from them. I actually cancelled my account, so it wouldn't renew, but they still charged me with the renewal, which I didn't pay obviously.

Got an ?order confirmation? for an "Extraordinary contract termination" today, requesting 149€.

Did you pay your charges? I know I won't. First, I was kinda shocked when I got the mail today. After giving it some thought, I'm pretty sure, that they won't be able to get through with any legal actions.

I never paid them and you don't need to pay them either.........they will keep sending you letter for atleast 6 months.
we are lucky enough, they tried to fool us but I am sure this way they have charged many people too.

some day someone will say to them enough!

if you can, complaint to domain name registry or consumer council Austria

I am another one caught up in an innter.net mess - trying to transfer my domain!

Innter.net has now taken my domain off line removed my account with them and sent me an invoice for 149 euros for extrordinary cancelation - which according to their T&Cs is in the case of violation of acceptable use policy which I have not violated as far as I can see.

Furthermore I have not received a transaction code as required by GoDaddy to have my domain transfered. Even more curious when I clicked on the link to pay the invoice I got this message You cannot make payment for this order here. Because I no longer have an account I can no longer request support either and there is not a phone number to call them.

In the meantime I am out of business I cant sell anything

I cant even go to the police because I am in the Netherlands and Innter.net is in Cyprus, or can I file a complaint in Austria?

I did file a complaint at ICANN, but that is a bit weird, because you don't get a confirmation they received your complaint, and after 5 days no communication from them either - I wonder if it really works to file a complaint there...

My god, what a bunch of criminals!!!!!!!!!

Anyone had any success and beating these criminal at their own game?

I have whois innter.net and it seems that they are based on Cyprus. Someone on Cyprus should hunt down this company. You can check more of the details here:

that is the point - how to hunt down a company in Cyprus - I already looked at the police site for Cyprus - and I couldn't see where I could file a complaint there.

Apparently on some German sites people filed complaints with the German Authorities as at some point they also have a German phone number and address...

My web shop is NOW off line, and no one responds to my enquiries and where are the cyber police!!!!

    UPDATE:

I filed two complaints with ICANN and never heard anything back - would be curious to know why that is.

I emailed COREINC.ORG and got a standard response which referred me back to INNTER.NET, which is of course futile. Finally, I called them, and whilst their first response was to brush me off, I perservered and got the guy to listen to me, and COREINC.ORG took the domain into their control so they can issue me a transaction code to transfer it as I see fit...

Will report back later when there is more news.

    ciao-ciao for now!

I got a message saying the transfer was complete. What a relief!

I still can't believe that companies that enage in such practices are allowed to stay in business. Finally ICANN did nothing for me, that I can tell, which is totally disturbing. I got it fixed by contacting the parent registrar, and even though at first they wanted to brush me off, I got him to listen to my story, and they took control of my domain and gave me the transfer code.

It can't be correct that people and businesses can be victimized without defense. It undermines the integrity of the internet in its entirerity.... I am certainly more weary from this experience, and even though I got this fixed, I still have a sickening feeling in my stomach concerning how ethics on the internet are enforced. That there are viruses and scammers with web sites, OK... but that registars are allowed to be equally criminal without checks is just super, super, disturbing.
